I have worked with Max on various and sundry projects off and on now
for the past eight years. What a phenomenal talent, the incredible timbre
and range of his vocals, can only be matched by the speed, soul and
dexterity of his fingers on the neck of a guitar. It has been one of
my biggest joys to be able to have worked with him in my studio. But
since you couldn't be there for that, you'll have to see him perform
yourself. I seriously doubt anyone could walk away disappointed!

Definitely a
crowd pleaser with the energy of a four piece band. Has a real way
with getting to know the people he is entertaining on a first name
basis and incorporating them into his show. We hope Max Combs will
always grace us with his talent at THE SHED.

Ok guys, here it is, you must click on the following link to the website
of a pilot friend of mine who also is a terrific singer/song writer!
Go to the listen to Max link and listen to what I call a very powerful
and stellar performance of Max's tribute to the shuttle disaster.
After listening to this, let me know what you think! If this is not
a star performance, then I absolutely don't know what would be!
Enjoy, my friends,
Mike
I have been watching Max play guitar for over 20 years. I have known
him personally for about 18 years. Not only is he one of my first
local guitar influences. He is one of the best human beings I have
ever met. I have made a living playing guitar since 1979.
As a young musician starting out Max always made time to teach me
the business and the right guitar chord for the cover songs our bands
were playing. He has always been a solid professional and will always
be older than me. I don't get to say that very often.
With love, respect & admiration

Where is An A&R Man When You Need Him.
This has all the elements of a Hit. A taste of things I have heard
but can't identify and yet super fresh. I am not a ballad fan, but
this is catchy and original. I could see this tune in the Adult Hot
100. Excellent songwriter and vocals. If this writer could swing towards
a more general audience rather than the obvious Christian target,
had a producer and a label...it wold not be long until I would shout
